ETS Fans

ETS items are great. I visited the factory in Prague a little over a year ago and they are really nice people building really wonderful trains.

I've never had any Merkur, so I can't help.

Merkur is quite  "robust" compared with ETS, which is usually better detailed and better proportioned.

And the running qualities of ETS are much better; some of my Merkur are very poor runners and/or I had to work a lot on them; ETS runs out of the box.

Thanks for bringing this up - the prices are not unreasonable.

A couple of things -

Tried searching ebay for "kr_trains", found no relevant results, then searched for "ETS trains" and it brought up the listings for kr_trains right at the top.  Search algorithms amuse me sometimes. 

Has anyone bought from Merkur via their website?  Last time I checked, it didn't say that they sell/ship to US, but also didn't say that they don't. 

For Merkur the easiest is to buy from Rob Giskes with his webshop https://www.blik-en-speelgoed.nl/en_GB/, he ships around the world.

I buy Merkur from Rob Giskes  info@giskes-personeels-advies.nl in the Netherlands. Merkur doesn't have a way on their website to ship to the US. Rob is very easy to work with.
