Hi to all:

Thought I would post some photos of a campground scene I am working on. I have learned so much from discussion and pictures o this particular forum I decided to give something back. I have been constructing a scene depicting a campground "somewhere in the Midwest (?)" as my wife and I love to take our RV out, and we both camped with our families as kids. I construct these scenes mainly in Winter when I'm in NC, because the layout is out in the garage and it gets a little cold, even with the space heaters.

I built the scene with the "pink insulation" in layers (thanks, Jim Policastro, for your words of encouragement at York Fall 2013), then I covered this with plaster cast material (my real job gives me access to an abundant supply of scraps). Then it was on to scenery, with some encouragement and advice from my better half. The result came out pretty good, I think, but you be the judge.

I still have finished only this one corner, with about 4 feet left to go, but a start! Of course, I'll probably add more detail to this (when is a layout EVER finished)

Enjoy!

Bruce

I live in Florida, but in my mind I've gone to Carolina ... to run O Gauge!

Do you have brand new roller skates too?
