About a year ago I purchased a Dolores Conoco Plant kit from Ragg's to Riches, a producer of limited run craftsman type kits.  It's been sitting on a self waiting for me to take up the challenge and complete it.  I told myself I would work on it this Fall.  Well Fall is here and I hope in three weeks to have completed the kit.  Then the bald spot just outside of Maryville on the MARS (Mid Atlantic Railway System) will be no more!  Bo

This afternoon I'm posting a photograph taken of the completed office for my oil and fuel distribution facility.  I had hoped to be a little further along as there is much more yet to be done, but I found there to be quite a bit of prep work needed before I could begin assemblying the kit.

Office and MTH Track Ballasting 008

The office building itself went together pretty well, but it did take time to carefully fit the parts together and glue things in place.  Although I went ahead and weathered the chimmney I have  chosen not to weather rest of the building until I have more of the facility completed and can do more of it at one time.  Overall, for my first attempt at a craftsman type kit, I think the office turned out pretty well.  Now on to the garage and hopefully the loading platform this week.   Bo
