Didn't really know where to put this.  A big name lawyer in town told me a few years ago that he had American flyer trains as a kid and wondered why his dad, (also a big name lawyer) bought him Flyer instead of Lionel.  I gave him several possibilities and forgot about it.  A couple of years later, it turns out they still have flyer trains.  I told his wife to find them and I would have a flyer knowledgeable friend check them over and maybe get them ready to surprise the husband running around the Xmas tree.

Heard no more until January when she gave my wife a box of trains for my friend to examine.  The box contained several pre war Link coupler freight cars with boxes, One set of passenger cars which my friend says were never offered for separate sale and should have been with a steam engine, and a flyer Geep.

The only real item of interest is a much later missel car in mint condition with the original red white and blue (I think), load, firing button, and box. The lawyer has decided to put the box back in the attic to rust away but want's to know "how much he could get" for the missle car.  Although I know my friend is interested in the car, I believe the owner would presume that my friend is trying to stiff him if I ask him what the car is worth.  So if anyone can identify this car from my scant description, I would appreciate an appraisal of it's value so I can pass it along to the wife and get out of the middle.
