The difference is like night and day using the NCE Power Cab remote instead of having to start my tablet, start an app, and fish through menus each time I want to run trains.

A stark reminder of what is in store for my O Gauge trains now that both MTH and Lionel have unfortunately gone the tablet/phone/app route with no other options.
