I couldn't resist this collection of 1:48 sized Harry Potter figures that I found in a "collectibles" store that recently opened nearby. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with them. The set was only $30, they are die-cast metal.
Any suggestions to incorporate them into my already crowded Warrenville? I don't have a Hogworth's Express and don't plan on buying one.

John, I bought some metal Harry Potter folks a couple of years ago to put out on the layout when I run the Hogwarts Express I bought for my adult daughters and sons-in-law to see. My perception was they thought it a nice novelty, but haven’t asked about it since. I may have to wait for possible grandchildren to show interest, but I may not live to see it!
Once I get my new layout up and running I may put them out just for my own humor!
That's a cool set! I'm not much into the Harry Potter thing myself and with no grandchildren yet "If I live that long" I wouldn't have a use for them but all die cast figures for $30 isn't bad.
I agree. Those are cool. Lionel definitely should produce a Legacy version (or LC+2). Or for that matter, if MTH has that engine in their euro-line, they should make a knock off.

One of our members built this scene for the Austin Tinplate Tracker's layout.
I have a few of them. I grind off the base with a Dremel and place them at random spots on the layout along with the rest of the O scale population. It’s fun when a kid spots one and is excited to see it.
