There is a local O-Gauge display in the town near me that has a great permanent layout depicting downtown, Mebane ,NC.  In an adjacent room filled with trains in display cases is a double concentric helix built into a Christmas tree.  The helix is configured as one continuous loop.

Did you ever wonder where the design of that tree came from?  Bill Henning designed that in 2014 and a number of people got the plans for it and constructed them.
