Help fixing k-line by lionel operating car 6-21621

I recently bot this car at a train show and planned to use with the K-line remote(K 712). The operating mechanism moved a little bit at first, but failed therafter using the K-Line remote and UCS special track. I pressed the reset on the remote. Still no response. I noticed contrary to other K-line operating cars, this one has no reset button on the car under carriage. That has worked on my other K-line operating cars when I experienced difficulty. Also I tried various operating codes with no success.

Help please. All comments/suggestions welcomed,
