I won a train set with a PRR 6-8-6 turnbine but it doesn't have the remote from what I can see, ( haven't received it yet) any how I see the remotes for sale on the bay, will any one work the set or do I need a certain one. and if any one will run it, how do you run two different trains that use that remote? Below is the train set I won.

I'm looking at " M.T.H. - DCS Remote Commander Handheld Controller (50-1033) " remote on Ebay. With what is in the set, Do I also need the M.T.H. - DCS Remote Commander Receiver (50-1033) ?

Any help would be nice, I know zip about MTH system. Can this set just be run in conventional mode also?

The locomotive will work with all compatible AC transformers in the conventional manner or with DCS (DCS requires additional equipment).
Taking a closer look at the above picture, it looks like the remote is on its side next to the transformer "brick". This set remote works with the included lockon (grey box) to alter track voltage in the conventional way. The remote does not directly communicate with the locomotive; rather it has ordinary direction, bell and whistle buttons in the same way as the MTH Z-500/750/1000 controller.
Note that the included "brick" will work with either the included lockon or with the Z controller, but does not have independent voltage control.
I have attached a picture of the remote.
