Okay, I'm missing something here.  I have one handle of my Z4000 plugged into variable 2 of the TIU.  The transformer is working for certain.  This channel has always worked in the past.

I can use a test light and verify that power is going inside of the TIU as I'm touching the test light wires to the inside connectors of variable 2.  There is no power on the variable 2 connectors of the output.

I'm assuming the fuse is bad.

I'm looking at all four fuses.  They all look perfect.  I'm still convinced that it must be the fuse.

I'm trying to remove a fuse, with no luck.  I'm very concerned about "ripping" one out.  Has anyone else changed a fuse and are these all really that tight in there?  How did you remove the fuse?

Thank you.

John,

In order for a variable channel to pass power, it must either:

  • Have it's power "dialed up" via a TIU Track
  • Be set to Fixed Mode of operation via the SYSTEM/DCS menu.

Which method are you using?
