First I want to say Hello and that I'm new to this site. I've been away from model railroading for sometime but as a kid, I had the Berkshire Valley Route layout done in HO and really enjoyed it. I tried getting back into railroading by my true passion is my 69 Camaro that I built for drag racing, but now I'm finding, especially around Christmas, that I want a layout again.

Santa brought me the Pennsylvania Flyer a few years ago and I'd like to see if it's possible to have a nice, but busy layout on a 4'x8' or maybe a 5'x9'. I would love to be able to run two trains at the same time, so if my nephew comes over, he doesn't get bored with one train running.

Could someone direct to my where I might find a Fastrack layout plan that would fit on either one of those two size tables that would work for my needs?

I have so many question but I figured I'd better start with finding a layout first.

Thank you.

Here is a basic layout that has been designed using SCARM software for RealTrax O, Lionel O Fastrack and Atlas O track systems. Designs include a parts list with manufacturer part numbers. See the tutorials which show how these were designed.

These designs use O-72 curves but smaller curves could also be used.  Contact Pro Hobby for more information.

Similar to Pro Hobby's, above, here is a layout designed with RR-Track to fit on a 5' x 9' surface. I used Ø48 and Ø36 curves; 10", 5", and 4-1/2" straights (all stock lengths); and Ø36 switch tracks.

Attached is the RR-Track file also.

Good luck!
