What HO track do you use for your On30 track?
Do you also run HO trains on your layout ?
I want to create a layout that I can run both ! I realize I would have to trade out the buildings .
Any Ideas would be welcome . Thanks in Advance!
I am thinking a 5' x 10' , A reuse table from the Lionel trains. The Lionel & Mth trains are getting a new table or Maybe a larger floor area .

If you are going to do a Bi-Scale layout, I've thought of that too, I'd just use a good flex track like Atlas super flex and ballast the track pretty heavy hiding the ties for the On30 trains and also working for almost any HO trains.
The only thing one would consider cosmetically would be the tie spacing and width. I have small dioramas (see my post on 3 truck shay) where I use them for both HO scale and my On30 stuff. Although it's hand laid and using On30 proportion ties, I spaced them closer together than I do on my On30 only layout. With good ballast work, you can use it for both HO and On30 and it's not noticeable as "out of scale".

To start out , I will use Kato HO track !
I have my eyes on the Micro engineering On-30 track for a small On-30 layout !

I use Microengeering code 100. Sturdy but you have to be carful while bending curves.
