I saw one as a kid at a big indoor car show. It had what looked like crushed velvet on the out side. Not shiny paint. Got to meet the caped crusader also. I think it was adam west but I was young so I can't remember for sure. I drove my dad nuts saying let's get to the batmobile dad. When can we see the batmobile dad hu hu! You get the picture. Loved that day! Still love that car. Wish I lived near charley's would go in a hart bet! Trains and the batmobile. Holy wowzers that would make my day batman! Thanks chris for the pics!
I was a kid when the 1989 Batman movie came out with the new(er) batmobile. Some one donated it to the Virginia Science Museum in Richmond. My dad took me to see it. The museum is in the old Broad Street Station in Richmond that was once served by RF&P, Seaboard and Atlantic Coast Line. Now it is a Science Museum with some Railroad exhibits like a C&O Kanawa and others or so I've heard. I've only been the once. I remember being impressed by the building and the car. Fun memories.

I'm sure somewhere in that cave is the Bat Train.

Fiberglass Freaks is about an hour from my home here in Lafayette. About a month ago I spent the day chasing the Norfolk Southern OCS and then went over to the shop and got an amazing tour. It's one thing to see photos, but it's something completely different to see these in person. There is a ton of love that goes into building each one of these cars.
