I just bought my first MTH Premier subway set, the R11 20-2933-1. The way I have my TIU wired I can only run in command mode using my DCS remote. The owners manual that came with my subway set only describes how you setup TAS running in conventional/transformer mode with a series of horn, bell, bell, etc. commands.

My question is can you not setup TAS station stops using your DCS remote? If not I won't be able to setup my TAS station stop announcements because I cannot run my trains in transformer mode. Surely since many folks run in DCS command mode I cannot believe they would force you to run in conventional mode in order to execute the TAS commands.

I will appreciate any help you subway fans can provide.

By the way I love my Premier R11 set. The look and feel of the cars rate an 11 grade from me on a 1 to 10 scale!! My only regret is that it has taken me this long to acquire my first subway set.

email is in my profile. Thanks in advance for your help.

Although it lacks the detail of my book, it should provide what you are seeking.

This and a whole lot more is all in "The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", now available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book from MTH's web store site! Click on the link below to go to MTH's web page for the book!
