I have 2 Metrolink Engines and not enough cars - input on what to do?

1. Buy some Railking Amtrak cars

2. Get some odd ball passenger cars to look like a private train

Or

3. Sell them and Buy Amtrak stuff.

Obviously 1 and 2 might the best way to go.

Buy another set of Metrolink cars. Easy solution and they become available frequently.

I see 2 easy options. 

1. Do what PTC said and buy a second train.

2. Swap one train back and forth between 2 engines.

If the controls in the cab car are non-functional for some reason, a locomotive will often be added at that end of a trainset as well to provide a working cab.  Unfortunately you have two different control systems......

There not made of tin, so you can guess what my suggestion would be

There are a couple of  18" sets on eBay right now.

Here is a K-Line set -- better for sharper curves, and here is an MTH set (overpriced).

I have an 18" MTH set I've been considering selling, but it's strictly I-72 because I replaced the couplers with Kadees, except on one car which is a transition from the 3-rail engine to the Kadee-equipped cars. I've since acquired a set of 21" K-line cars and an Atlas NJT Horizon car which Metrolink was using on the San Bernardino line for quite a while.
