I would get the C&O Allegheny in each scale. (G,O,S,HO,N,Z)
But I don't have the display space or interest to start that anytime soon.
Did anyone make the allegheny in S scale? How about OO, TT, or the other european scales?

Let's see....
I have the Acela in O, HO, and N.
I have Amtrak Genesis engines in G, O, and N
I have several engines in G and O:
- NS Dash 9
- Santa Fe F3 ABA
- SP GS-4
- Atlantic Coast Line F3 AB
- Union Pacific SD70
I want to do this with the same locomotive. Some day, some day...
We used to have quite a few duplicates years ago when I had our shop in all scales.
Now only a few - here are the N&W 611, a pair of Berkshires, and out of camera range a pair of Mikados. We also have a few misc diesels in both HO and O
Between HO, N, and O Gauge, I have approximately 15, yes 15, F units....not accumulated intentionally. (I swear!)
Otherwise, I don't buy the same engine multiple times to get different cab numbers...don't even buy dummy units. Waste of money to me.
I have models of several locomotives in different scales but I don't consciously attempt to collect models of a locomotive for every scale in which a model of that specific locomotive is available. For example, I presently have GG1s in O and N but I don't plan to buy HO, S or Large Scale versions, at least at this point.
Bob
I've never seen a Marx 666 or 999 in anything but O gauge.
Marx made many variations of the 999 and the 666, I have tried to collect all of them but there is always something different.
Thanks
Pat
