Fred is right, first step is to deal with the speaker, that will usually give you a significant volume boost over a plain speaker without a baffle.  Regardless of the size or quality of the speaker, a good baffle will do wonders for the sound volume, and it'll also enhance the bass response.

If you really want a "loud" sound system, my suggestion is two 5W speakers with a proper baffle and a small booster amplifier.  Here's a likely candidate, eBay: 192163691131, TDA2030A Audio Amplifier Module Power Amplifier Board AMP 6~12V 1*18W

You will need a 12VDC power supply good for about an amp for max volume.  On the right is eBay: 261125231774, AC DC TO DC Buck Converter Step Down Module, a nice match for this amplifier.

 

10-12 watts of power should solve your volume issues.
