Just got a Fedex delivery from CharlesRo. They hadn't forgotten my pre-order from ~5 years ago!
Guess I will have to read the instructions and setup later. Forgot to install the lamp for the picture, I do have it.

That's great Dan. Cannot wait to see it in operation.

I forgot all about those. Hope they do them in various railroad logos. I will wait for a Union Pacific one...
I got mine today from CharlesRo today too!!! I am waiting to open until I get home tonight!!!
i saw the original one that TAS did and back then i thought it was a great idea glad to see it finally done i am not much into acc but this one i may have to take the plunge
Well, it took Lionel awhile, but we DID get them. Good thing it didn't take us 41 years like the lift bridge.
Looks great so far, and hope to see it works just as good.
5 years?..........

I would not hold your breath on various railroad names. It's my assumption based on conversations with a few folks in the loop that this is going to be it for a long time on the smoke fluid loader. Take a look at what's cataloged and the recently announced additions and select from that...
Joe, actually 4 1/2 years. I pre-ordered 9/2011.
Searching the Internet and my Lionel 2016 catalog. Does anyone have the length and width dimensions? Can't find them anywhere.
The footprint is approx 13"x5"
Someone post a video. All you guys who bought them have been waiting forever so now let's get them hooked up and let's see a demo!

Thanks for the quick reply.
Please show us a Picture once you get it up and running.
Good luck,John
Pretty neat Dan, how much smoke fluid does it dispense at a time.
It's essentially a dropper. So you hold down the brake button and it dispenses one drop every second or so. So you can accurately count the number of drops added to the loco.
Along those same lines what is the total fluid capacity?
Does it blow in the stack to clear the bubbles?
It appears to be a very large tank. I put about 10 full eyedroppers in and had to push the output pipe down in further before it would work. Will have to have Greg pick me up a LARGE bottle of Lionel premium smoke fluid before our next meet.
It will also blow bubbles for a couple of pumps, sometimes, when you start filling an engine.
No, it does not blow down the stack for you. You may still need to do it manually.
Dan
That is darn cool!
