The film, a training film, details what it's like to be a streetcar or trolley operator during the period (late 1940s) trolleys operated in Los Angeles, California.

"Be a diplomat and don't make them feel like a criminal if their transfers are not good..." -- ah the good old days. Wished some of that courtesy was part of the service today on the transit! Of course no passenger is asking for anything like this LOL and kidding...
