Can anyone tell me where I might find these? The original K-line coupler stopped working. I swapped out with a MTH coupler but it is a longer shaft. I think MTH makes 2 lengths on their couplers. I could settle for a MTH coupler if K-lines aren't available. Thanks for any help.

Maybe you might want to check into Lionel Parts. Not sure, but perhaps the Lionel E-8's are reincarnations of the K-Line versions. Just a thought. since the Lionel Lima Berkshire sure seemed to be Just like the Original one from K-Line.
Electric RailRoad (ERR - the TMCC upgrade kit people - owned by Lionel) offers Lionel Electrocouplers; check their website. The "majors" use a standard Eletcrocoupler/Protocoupler mount design. I've interchanged them several times. eBay is also a source.
The traction tires aren't typically all that unique - it's usually a matter of diameter. Get a basic measurement (wheel or tire) and look on eBay (for example) - or call a reputable dealer. Most "diesel traction tires" will fit most diesel locos.
Use MTH tires, they are much better. You can get away swapping with a Lionel coupler but not MTH.
Brasseur's is the go to place for K-Line parts. They list traction tires for the E8s. I am sure they also have most or all of the electro couplers that Lionel offers. They come in 11/2" , 1 3/4", and 2". Check the coupler mount on your engine. The majority of engines use a similar mount. If Brasseur doesn't have them Lionel surely does. I typically replace 2" with 1 3/4.

Marty, The MTH PS-1 Couplers are similar to Lionel and a good fit if the mounts the same.
Jini5, If you post a picture of the coupler I may have the K-Line version. I also have MTH tires that would work. G
This one...2 inch overall length and what Lionel calls a B mount. See the lionel link to see what that is.
K2400EC in the Kline list...

Lionel part too...
You can use MTH couplers, but make SURE they're the PS/1 version. If you measure the resistance of the coupler and it's less than 3 ohms, it's a PS2/3 coupler and is NOT suitable for TMCC electronics. The Lionel or MTH PS/1 couplers will measure between 5 and 7 ohms.
What is 3A.... Amps? G
Ohms George, Ohms! I think I'll go get more coffee!
