Lionel service depart called 08:30 this morning to let me know that they were sending a set box and the power supply out Priority Shipping and I should have it in a day or two. I really appreciated the call which I didn't expect at all. That's fixing things quickly and efficiently. Can't wait to run these K-Line F-3's in a few days!

Okay got the Milwaukee Road F-7's up and running, at least the ABA is. The extra B Unit doesn't match the wiring, it has 8 pin plugs while the ABA set has 4 pin. No problem with that, the ABA looks great and is enough train for my layout. The Lionel cars for being silhouettes just plain ROCK! The cars are seeing their first daylight since they were made and the paint is spectacular. Correct or incorrect as to prototype, don't know, don't care,  these are just sweet cars. They look great behind the F-7's. I tried to load some pictures but there appears to be a problem uploading to the OGR server right now. Here is a short video clip with the FLIP Cam.

To be totally honest K-line made some really cheap crap... at first glance I would never purchase what I had seen at local train shows...

And then as I started to look through some of their elusive products they made - lo and behold they made some really cool stuff!   seems the new products were really not hitting the secondary market.

K line products were one item you had to see it in your hands to judge it.

To this day their passenger cars, scale steamers, cabeese, scale freight cars, and operating accessories are impossible to beat.

Too bad they stepped on the big guys toes... so long K-line.
