Two days left to order our second in a series of three Lionel “Traditional O” Collectible Cars to commemorate the New York World’s Fair, the association of the Long Island Rail Road with the Fair, and our Allan Herschell LIRR G-16’s 50th Anniversary.

The Lionel SKU 6-58580 RMLI G-16 Tool Car.

 

Imagine, every historic train that travels the country has at least one railcar committed to carrying spare parts and the unique tools necessary to care for the engine and consist.  Please welcome our RMLI G-16 Tool Car to your railroad as a companion to our LIRR G-16 Exhibit Car or as a stand-alone car in your consist traveling to the next G-16 show.  It features the beautiful artwork of railroad caboose artist, Mr. George Wybenga,  www.cabooseart.com  depicting the RMLI and the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum at North Tonawanda, NY (where G-16’s were built).  This Lionel 9700 Series smooth sided boxcar features a stamped metal frame and die cast sprung trucks and will be extremely limited to only those who purchase the car in advance.
