layout design

Hello all. I just joined the forum after reading a zillion posts for the last week. Very interesting stuff and well worth the read.

I now have an 8 X 16 o gauge layout in the downstairs train cave. My wife forced me to finish off the room so it didn't look like a work shop. What I am looking for is the same foot print of a layout but for a four train operation.

Any and all ideas will be welcome. I am a lousy designer but a decent builder. Used recommendations and ideas from this forum.

Welcome Gus.In a space that size I am thinking a double track upper and lower level to run four trains.There are many guys here that are experts in this field.Nick
