I thought I read somewhere that a Legacy controller can operate MTH engines. But now I can not find where I saw it. I know MTH DCS can run TMCC and Legacy but what about the other way around. I think the answer is NO, but if Legacy can operate a DCS engine, how is it done?

Legacy can only operate the conventional functions of a PS2 / PS3 engine. No command at all.

You would need to use Legacy to control a TPC, ZWL or Legacy power master that varies voltage to the track and controls the conventional function.
