Legacy Primer

I actually considered this and even did a little exploratory work but the fact is with the new videos coming out of Lionel and the wealth of helpful people here, the work involved and my job would make it drag out too long for it to be useful. I'd rather use this forum to help in almost real time. The Lionel videos are a big plus as well.

I'm not sure how we should take that here on the TMCC/Legacy side of the tracks.

Harold, What would you like to see addressed? Lets see what concerns are out there. Id be willing to write up something for any questions that aren't already covered

 

Honestly they Lionel manual, although sometimes a bit scattered, covers most things. Plus the Lionel and Marty's videos cover a lot.  Luckily no need for a 200+ page add on manual (which I do own and consider essential to anyone trying to figure out DCS)

I find the legacy manual disorgqnized and opaque.  Manuals for locomotives are much better.  Lionel videos are hit and miss and I end up trying to take notes.  A legacy primer covering major topics in a clearly written fashion would be really helpful.  Lionel could put this on their website for downloads and coordinate it with their videos - some of which could be redone.  

Btw Mike Regan called me.  I really appreciate the efforts he and his team are making!
