legacy upgrade modules where to get?

hey guys again I just answerd my own question by looking at the lionel website and finding out I can purchase the upgrade modules from them so I guess that's the way I will go. thanks anyway

The good news is that it is 1.3. That's the starting point version for user upgrades.

yes, you can upgrade to 1.54 directly from there.

You need a usb to db9 adapter from your computer, unless you have an older version with a db9 port.

Then download the LSU (Legacy System Utility version 2.0) software from Lionel along with the upgrade.

A little reading of the directions and you are upgraded.

Free Black Modules for Legacy

This allows you to upgrade from the comfort of your own home.  If you have 1.3 or later, it'll talk to the LSU (Legacy System Utility) and allow you to write the black modules for the updates.

hey guys just wanted to let you know that I got the 1.4 upgrade from lionel for free they said that's all I need if I am not going to be using my computer to control my trains which I am not. I can barely log in to the dam thing. not that computer savvy.

Charles Ro has them and he also has some done to the new code.
