Found a couple of shots from my carpet (8' x 15') 2005 Christmas layout.
Ron...I hate to tell you that your train obsession has completely taken you over...proof positive is when the christmas tree on the Christmas layout can barely be seen!
love the layout, has that perfect tinplate look..even if your tree is kinda small..

If you LOOK really close, in the front view, you'll find the Blue Comet under that tree. BTW Fat Sam, one of our cats, considered THAT Blue Comet was his to play with.

ah yes.....so far I've been lucky, none of our cats have claimed any of my trains....yet.
My first Tinplate Christmas.
Here is the 252 I recently received from my daughter and son-in-law for remodeling their kitchen (never owned tinplate). At the time this video was taken I just got the engine running after help from a forum member by providing a wiring diagram. Waiting for a replacement roller assy to arrive so it will run smoothly.

Wow, someone dug up an old post. Guess it's time to post a video from this years displays.
My best Christmas layout from a couple of years ago with a Standard Gauge MTH 381E pulling a consist of MTH Tinplate Traditions 430 orange passenger cars on the outer loop while a post-war Lionel Norfolk & Western 746 hauls a consist of NYC Pacemaker box cars from 1992 around the O Gauge inner loop. Unfortunately, the ravages of the aging process prevents me from rebuilding this lovely layout.
Finally got the Christmas video finished.
Post Christmas tree layout. Tree taken down but trains remain. Running a Lionel 256 electric with 800/2800 series cars (some originals and modern reproductions). The 256 doesn't run often because it's too tall for the clearances on my layout.
Another Lionel 256 movie. This time pulling red lettered small passenger cars.
