Lionel 1-700E Scale Hudson (1990) looooong tender coupler

The operating coupler does not mount in the scale coupler hole.

I thought the hole was too small for the screw so I did not even think it was a screw hole.

Your picture was just what I needed.

I would have replied earlier but I have been running the 20th Century Limited for an hour....with close coupling between the tender and the RPO car.

Looking for some parts to mount the standard coupler, but the numbers don’t seem valid when I searched online from parts dealers. The numbers from Lionel’s schematic are:

690-0145-011

690-671M-023

690-8005-016

Is there a modern equivalent to these numbers?
