Lionel 153 Block Signal LED bulbs? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi, I have a 153 Block signal which I want to put LED's.

Town and Country Hobbies sells LED's. Here is what is on the website to choose which LED to order:

"153 (prior to 1950) Block Signal (prior to 1950) 50R, 50G
153 (after 1950) Block Signal (after 1950) 53R, 53G OR 53RP, 53GP"

But I am not sure which 153 version I have. How do I determine which version so I can order the correct LED bulbs?

If your signal has a resistor on the bottom, it is an early 6 v. If there is no resistor, it's a later 12v.
