Although the new Lionel version will have Legacy, when I eventually see Lionel's prices on these 2-8-4's I have a feeling that I'm really, really going to regret not buying one of K-Line TMCC versions during the Sun Model $375 to $400 blowout liquidation sale of 2006.  They were great looking then and should be so this time around.

Wow! Amazing, same here. the first thing that came to mind..

Hey Charlie how much on the Acela? Does it have all the same features?

Joe

The Acela is 1699.99 and the two cars 499.99 MSRP before discounts. It does everything the original did except Tilt and it has Legeacy. Originally Posted by JC642:

I think its safe to say who got their hands on the k-line tooling, first k-4s and the "mikes", now these berks, this is great news. I wonder if these berks will negotiate the tighter radius' like the k-line berks did. I was almost beginnig to think my wallet was safe.

Charlie,

Thanks for the info on the Acela.  I wonder if the new cars can run with the older Acela?  I will ask that York.
