It is much larger that what I expected. What is on your order list?

Deciding on some Southern diesels. Love the high hood GP30, and missed pre-ordering the Trainmaster.
Just a few of the operating playgrounds and swings. I wish they would come out with more automated accessories, like scale type carnival rides!!
I am still trying to sort out Lionels PWC products!
Yes, i am late to the ball as usual, but trying to play catch up!
Check out our web site and you could win a Lionel Centerpede!
I like the C&NW dealer set.
WOW! $649.00 msrp for reissued diesels!
WOW! $649.00 msrp for reissued diesels!
Shop around. I had sticker shock at first but street prices are a bit more reasonable. I am in for the South Buffalo S-2s, maybe the NYC 10 wheeler.

Yeah.....$650 for an S-2 is crazy......well, if Lionel can't move them maybe they will offer them weathered in 2016!!
I only have 4 Lionel grain elevators, I probably should get at least one more.

I see a lot of 18" passenger cars. They used to be my favorite, but now only the 21" cars are looking right to me.

I'm liking the Gantry Crane and the PS-1's.
Some can be ordered now and some are 2015 preview, but here are my definite orders.
- I see several GP30s that I'd like, but have narrowed it down to one...the TP&W in bicentennial paint
- Lionel Steel Culvert Gondola
- Lionel Lines Coal Dump Car
- Lionel Industrial Coal Hopper
Nothing. I already got what I wanted from volume 1.
Nothing caught my eye. No new scale steam. All reruns. Already have the JLC Y's.
Still waiting for items announced a year ago.
not now I wanted brand New Accessories NOT reruns. can't wait for the day they Do. TOM SR.
I was relieved there was no new scale UP steamers!
Overall, I think Lionel's Version 2 Catalog is bigger than I expected and is a nice addition to Version 1.
Some Lion Chief, Plus locos. TBD.
Some interesting items there but the prices take your breath away. I'm likely to order the GP30 in Milwaukee Road - it's about the only diesel I can think of that I actually want and don't have already. $600 MSRP translates to a bit over $450 RW (real world), which is a lot of money for a diesel, but at least Lionel went to the trouble to put the correct AAR trucks on the Milwaukee and GM&O versions. A lot of us have been hoping that somebody would put out a Milwaukee/GM&O/Soo GP-30 with the correct trucks, and Lionel has beaten MTH to the punch on this one. I'm still annoyed about the overpriced Legacy Bi-Polar I pre-ordered a couple of years ago and two months later it was on blowout for $200 less than I paid (which was the best available pre-order price), but since the GP-30 is BTO that probably won't happen.
At least the hit to my wallet will be spread out - I heard from a usually reliable source that Lionel plans to offer the USRA Heavy Mikado in Milwaukee Road next fall, and that's a thousand-dollar must-have.
Price increases and overflowing storage space have caused me to cut way, way back on new train purchases. There are some nice freight cars in the new catalog - in past years I'd have automatically checked the GTW covered gondola and the PS-1 boxcars in DSSA and Green Bay & Western - but I'll probably hold off and see if they turn up on blowout or in the secondary market.
I've been wanting a Camelback with those features for the longest time! Too bad they didn't make a Long Island one!
