Of course, I asked them about making this at York, and their answer was that they don't have to tooling (though they had it in the 80's, didn't they?), so I should go ask MTH.

Whatever happened to the green 2400 series PW inspired passenger set?  Was mentioned (I think) in 2016 Vol I and never appeared.

Like to see those.

Yeah, I'm one of those who was burned on that one.

I'd love to see anyone produce the distinctive D&H Challengers. One doesn't have to be a D&H fan to appreciate their beauty. They would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.

IMO, Lionel needs to put another actual (not the kids styled Lionel Junction or any character train sets) train set back in the $150.00 price range.  From what I see now, the only actual train set that carries the lowest price point is a little over $200.00, and it has a loco, one boxcar and caboose.

They're starting to do what they've done here and there in focusing on the expensive locos and cars again, with the starter sets increasing in price.  There needs to be a basic set again in the $150.00 price range.

And yes, since I'm a fan of those sets, I would buy if it were offered.

I would go for the green-colored 2400 series passenger cars and the Pyro military flat cars.

Lionel 2017, how about a new "Mike Reagan," he would definitely bring many of our train wishes to reality.

Actual EMD 645 Sounds for their BTO SD40 & SD45 diesels.

They are using the more modernized 710 prime mover sounds which is inexcusable for the price they are charging.

Polar Express Lion Chief Plus engine, with plenty of pulling power for all those add on cars I bought.

Montana Rail link or the few restored SD45 SCL or Great Northern. Even an SD40-2 would be better than the refined sound of the 710.

Doesn't even have to be 20 cylinder as 16 cylinders were somewhat close sounding and would be better than that 710 they are using.

Didn't you care for the Sunset/3rd Rail models of the Southern Pacific MT class nor the fantastic AC-9 (still some in stock)?
