I read more and more about a volume 2 catalog. I thought since the 2018 catalog included everything that was it for 2018.

Ryan Kunkle has been saying from the first catalog that there would be a second.  I suspect it will be like previous Volume IIs with a rehash of Volume I, a few added items, and a preview for 2019.

On one of the Ryan and Dave shows they mentioned models like the H-10 have numerous possiblities with roadnames and the two tender styles. I suspect we"ll see the H-10 in new offerings.

Hey Rick, I no nothing about the history of the H-10, but really liked the model's features, size, and price point.  Any idea what other road names are possible given the history of the prototype (I realize fantasy schemes could make the answer infinite)?

Well that is a disappointment. I was hoping the new Hybrid was going to be announced, some hints on the new vision line release and a possibly a couple of revitalized steam releases... like possibly another Challenger or PRR M1b?

Also, a few add on cars coming for my UP excursion set?

Well I've been known to look at the glass as being half full...

What's the disappointment?  I said "I suspect".  I imagine the Brass Hybrid announced.  We don't know yet.  It's all conjecture until tonight or August 20th.

I believe Lionel would sell a lot more H10s if they replaced the cow catcher with the foot board pilot to reflect how it looked after WWII.

I do remember when Ryan visited TrainWorld in 2016(I believe), he was asked about Strasburg #90. His reply was he knew #90 well since he worked out there and it was something definitely on his list. I would say that it will come based on that, just a question of when since I don't think they have ever done an engine like that. If they do indeed do it, it will have to be perfect otherwise I would imagine Ryan would get the evil eye.

Whatever does come out will as most usually say, stuff from the other catalog with some new things here or there. I'm not sure what I would be looking for, though some would say Hudson. I think that we may get something that has been a while (I hope).

If they make number 90, or any other Strasburg Steam, it will need a full-sized front end coupler.
