Lionel 497 coaling station dimensions | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Can someone please measure their 497 coaling station for me to see if it will fit in my current layout?

A measurement from the center rail of the track out to the edges (Back and front) should be fine. A length dimension would help also.

I would like to use this as an aggregate loader for a mining operation I have planned on the layout. Just need to see if it small enough to fit. I found some dimensions for the reproduction versions, but didn’t know if they would be correct for a postwar era loader.

Dimensions: 9 1/2" x 6" x 10"

Center rail to bin side 4.0". Center rail to "Lionel" side is 2.5".

Length is 10.0".
