My PRR Legacy F7 set is not being recognized by the LC App on my phone (Apple).  It shows "No Loco Recognized".  The set DOES run fine using a Universal Remote.  I am assuming that the Legacy engines do not run on the APP??  Or is something wrong??

The LionChief+ engines can be run from either the remote or the app but not at the same time.  If you have run the engine with the remote and then want to run the engine with the app, the power on the remote must be turned off.  Then when you go to the app you need to click on the box that says "no connected engine".  A new screen appears which should show a picture of you engines.  Then the chain like symbol that represents two links connected needs to be pushed.

Do you have more than one powered unit in the set?  Not sure how the app deals with a powered A and B for example.

If it is a Legacy locomotive with Bluetooth, it can be run from the Universal Remote or the App. The locomotive can only be controlled by one Bluetooth controller at a time. If you are running it from the UniRemote, the App will not be able to see the locomotive.

If the App cannot find an "available" locomotive, it will show the message "no connected locomotive" and eventually a second pop-up will appear, "No Lionchief Engine. Did not find any engine available. (OK)"

If the app is not the latest version, you may get a generic engine image when you connect to a newer (more recent than the app) locomotive. In this case, you can still run the engine from the remote, you just won't get it's picture on the screen. In this case, check to see if there is a newer version of the app to download for your iOS or Android device.

If I read your note correctly, you indicated you could run this Legacy engine from the UniRemote, but not the app. The simplest explanation for this is that your UniRemote is still connected, and therefore the App is unable to connect.
