Anyone else have this loco? I love mine, but sometimes it doesn't seem as loud as it should be. The horn and whistle are always loud, but not the 4 chuffs, they seem to be a bit quiet, only at times. Whether running slow or fast, sometimes the sound picks up great, but then after using the tower com/crew talk, the chuff seems to quiet down. Anyone else have this issue? I was also thinking of making my own baffle for the baby fat boy speaker.

The volume could be louder. It needs a speaker with a larger magnet and maybe more watts.
It has a really nice sound package just too muted compared to pulmor growl ettc.. It would also help if the motor could be quieted down.
I thought about that too. They used a baby fat speaker because they placed the speaker in the dead center between the electronics. I wonder if there are any better versions of that small speaker??
