Can I use the top and bottom as 1-6 of the SC-2 if I have it set up for accessories only and no switches added

I believe on SC2 the numbering goes 1 is top left. 2 is below it. Then 3 is to the right of 1. 4is below 3 and so on. The main thing is some are momentary contact which means they only activate while holding button in. Some are on and off so one push button turns on then next push turns off. Hope that helps.

Jeff, each channel of the SC-2 offers both a momentary contact and an on/off contact, depending on which side you wire. You can also wire two devices using a single channel, one using each type of switching, they share a common return. You're correct on the port numbering.
