I've not extensively played with it yet, but the logger's cabins seems to have a decent loop before repeating (probably a couple of minutes, but I didn't formally time it yet).  Sounded pretty good to me the first time I played it.

Don't have any of the others you mention yet.

Just a quick update, I listened to the logging cabin again today, it seems like it's around 4.5 minutes before the loop re-starts.  Hopefully the others have similar length and variety of sounds.

Jeff,

I have the MOW small work house.  The sounds are awesome!  It seems to have slightly different sound sets each time you turn it on.  You hear sounds of shoveling, a jackhammer, pounding (like driving spikes into rail), and other work noises.  You also hear birds in the background and sometimes a car starting up.  My absolute favorite noises, though, are distant locomotive horns, and they are different horns, not the same one all the time.  It makes you believe that either the workhouse is not far from a main line and you can hear passing trains, or the workhouse is near a yard and there are different diesel engines slowly passing by.  It really adds great railroad environmental sounds to a layout.  I'd recommend getting one, you'll love it!  I'd like to hear the other ones Lionel has made, such as the steel mill and inter modal workhouses.  I wonder if any of them have distant steam whistle sounds?
