Dorcie, have your folks, or anybody else, thought of doing a commercial video of the display - layout and backdrop?  We own a tiny bit of BH stock and get the invite to attend and would love to do so, but from what I have researched, you need to plan a year in advance to get a hotel room in Omaha!

Very nice.  Would like to have seen a Lionel Trains sign or two.

That'd be entirely up to the BNSF folks it's their Layout in their booth - we're the hired hands at this event.

That would be entirely up to BNSF : ) However, we do store this beauty at TW TrainWorx and pull it out on the studio floor to share with all our Annual Layout Festival Attendees.

Great way to kick off the 2017 Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder's Meeting going on all day today...

I did say he likes his trains, didn't I?

Fabulous layout!  I especially like the constantly changing backdrop.  This is the first time that I have ever seen this done on any model railroad display.  It makes the display truly unique.

 How long , wide and high is the layout?  I am just curious.  It certainly gives the feel of the modern BNSF.

My first cross country train trip was on the Great Northern's Empire Builder from Seattle to Chicago.  I have always loved the GN orange and green colors.  I was lucky to take another trip from LA to Chicago on the Santa Fe's El Captain.  This gives me a special affection for the BNSF railroad.

I wish that I had some BH stock so that I would be invited to see the layout and could afford the trip.  Thank you for invitation to Texas but I don't think that trip is on my schedule.
