Looking for some info on an original 128 Animated News Stand...

Picked one up in a box of stuff today. After a few hours of gentle persuasion, a little oil I got moving. I completely disassembled it to give it a good cleaning. Is there a parts diagram available?? The fire hydrant is mounted to its post on something made out of wood. Doesn't seem right to me.
