Hi fellas...
It has been a while since I posted on here. I have a problem. I just replaced a geared axle on my CSX SD 60 and got it back up running again.
It runs great!!! Until you put the cab back on. I have no control through my cab 1. I take the cab off when it stopped and it started to run.
So anyone want to try to help me on this one?

Did you reconnect the antenna wire to the correct connection? G
That is what I thought. The antenna is blocked. But I cannot see anything wrong.
I will keep looking. I checked all the wires and got them out of the way.
I don't see any wires being pinched. The antenna is down over the front motor. If I turn it around to point the the back would that help...

Are you sure the antenna is plugged in correctly?
We may be looking in the wrong place. The second time you power cycle if there is no TMCC signal being received, the locomotive should be in conventional mode and rocket down the rails if you're applying 18 volts. Are the headlights blinking like they aren't getting a signal?
It always helps to know the product number of the engine. If it is a early version the antenna should not be over the motor. You can also tape the antenna if you think it's touching and grounding the signal.

The number is 6-28559. I ran it yesterday. I put the cab down on the fame very gently and it seemed okay so I left the screws out and ran it all day. It seems to be okay for now. I just hope I can put the screws back in and it will work okay.
