I had more than one of these as a kid. No domes that I recall though...But on one there was a sheet metal lever in a slot by the fire coats and a ramp that when pressed, lifted the ramp and rolled a truck or ambulance out of the door.

The slot was not centered nicely between the table and coats; it always drove my ocd nuts that they didn't take the time to do it "right". I also wished it had two ramps to roll two vehicles out in a "race" to get to a fire.. ah good times

..., the furniture may be pricey.

my aunt has a nice custom wood doll house so at first, just as a joke, i bought her a tin Marx doll house which over the years has become a favorite of hers.  every so often i find some Marx doll house furniture and send it to her.  from the size, i can imagine the same things would likely fit into the fire house.  some beds for the upper floor and maybe a table and chairs for the downstairs shouldn't be that difficult to locate.

Steve,

Congrats sir on a really nice find, have been looking for one myself for many years.  That sir is a great accomplishment.  Not many pristine 4819 FH's even around my hats off to PaPa Steve!

I thought I was lucky when I purchased my HQ US Army Training Center Building for reasonable money, the FH is an incredible find.

Your in luck Dave. There’s one on the Bay right now. Buy it now is only $3425, but it has all the accessories.

Steve,

As I indicated before I still can not find one at any reasonable price.  You can see why I do not own one.  The cost on that little boys toy, is pushing into the cost range of the Fine Double Gun, big boy toys, that also safe guard my Home & Family and can put food on the table if necessary.    All things must be kept in proper perspective.

Congrats again on a fantastic find!

That seller is in fantasy land obviously. The most I've seen one actually sell for is a little over $1600. Still way too much.
