Watch out for huge shipments of K Line coming in. The hobby stores will be overflowing with new inventory.

Cute! I was wondering how log before someone would decide to do this.
Of course, there is no connection between the two K-Kine entities.

I wonder if trains in China have rail cars, or shipping containers (like the K Line cars) that say Walmart on them?

No...they all have $$$ on the sides
Does that mean Lionel Barrymore and Lionel Richie are part of Lionel ?
Just because they have Lionel as there first name doesn't mean they have anything to do with the Lionel Trains Empire. If that was the case then Every Male in the World who have the first name of Lionel should be and Filthy Rich Man.
In my opinion, this has to be one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever seen on the Real Trains Forum, or the whole OGR Forum for that matter!
Come on Hot Water what's life without whimsy
OH K !!!!!

Bob and Marty your both wrong. Weaver, Atlas, MTH club, and Lionel TCCA marked containers. As for the K Line containers New Old Stock
Allan Martinez , its a joke.

Finally, I'll get that elusive el Capitan dormitory transition car.

My mistake. I meant to put this in 3-rail forum. If it matters ...
Actually, I could almost swear I did put this in 3-rail but maybe it got moved??
Looks like real trains to me
How ironic would it be if you found that one of the K-line model cars was shipped in one of those CONEX boxes?
C'mon...HW......We've seen tons more ridiculous threads around here, but I get yer point !
Darn, got me, too!
Was hoping someone had a new old stock warehouse find of K-line passenger cars!
What's next? Invasion of some Kusan trains?
kinda agree with HW, but i did enjoy the prototype photos.......there is so much toy train product available to us today,i sometimes think they ship all those containers we see full of train "stuff"...
Maybe those K Line containers will also deliver a sense of humor

Apparently there are some folks above who haven't spent much time railfanning or observed intermodal stack trains very much. K-Line containers are quite common. Here's some info on the company:
“K” Line is the world’s 17th-largest container shipping company and one of the largest Japanese transportation companies. Established in 1919, the Ichikawa-based ocean carrier currently has a fleet of 78 container ships.
“K” Line has subsidiaries in America, Japan, and India.
“K” Line was the 11th-ranked container carrier in U.S containerized import trade in 2013.

Not to pull a Rich, but shouldn't this be in the For sale or trade forum per the rules?
Ace,
This is beyond "cute", it turned out to be GREAT!
Congratulations, now I know where to store my really good K-Line stuff.

Finally, thinking outside the box.
Last I looked K-Line trains were still coming in but its now a mysterious little known brand called O-Line. Looks like K-Line or perhaps left-over RMT stock.
OY!!! It's all part of a CONSPIRACY!!!!!!
