No..Very funny !
Bob.. I love your challenge of the readership. OK.. semantics .. when you say "boxcar" do you really mean ALL cars produced with "flat cars" and all?
Others can read my scientific wild eyed stupid guess .. So my answer is 27. Make my prize a BitCoin. Thanks.
Bob,
Please be more specific. Pretend they made 500 units of a Union Pacific, 600 units of a New York Central, and 700 units of a Santa Fe.
Would the answer you'd be looking for be 3 box cars or 1,800 box cars?

Each road name. I'll post a picture of all of them later. NOT how many of each one was made.

Great way to spend a Sunday!
But if there is a different road number on each car, the total number would be very large.
WOW! I finally won a contest! Sitting here and CT on a cold and dreary Sunday and stumbled upon your contest. Nice of you to do this today. Brightened up this dreary looking day. I sent you my information. Thanks Bob!
Congrats !!! A nice prize will be sent out this week !! Thanks everyone who guessed.

You received already ??? Thanks President Trump for taking care of the the Global warming.
Just clouds and overcast here!
Tuesday forecast for Butler, high of 39, lows all week in the low 30s
I really feel for you guys on the east coast! All that darn snow and all the people that don't know how to drive in it! You all must go crazy!
It’s not too bad in rural Western Pennsylvania as far as other drivers go. Most folks are up to the challenge. The best thing ever was front wheel drive! It makes a great difference over rear wheel drive!!!
Brother Mike, we're all crazy here on the East Coast! You don't have to be crazy to live here but we've found it certainly helps a lot! Drove by a golf course today on my way home, 39 degrees and rainy, guys were out on the course! Enough said! LOL
Reminiscent of our eighth grade spelling bee, in which all but one in our English class misspelled the simple word, axiom, leaving the last student standing to integrate the twenty-nine mistaken efforts and guess correctly. (Algebra I was not offered until ninth grade in our school, so we apparently were not sufficiently well-read to recall encountering non-mathematical use of the word.)
Congratulations to Train Nut for paying attention like the lovely lass in our class.
