Does anybody have some of these from this years offering?  I'm thinking about purchasing a set of them but am hesitant as the color from the website seems to be a bit on the olive drab side of the "green scale".  If anybody has any of these, could you post some pics?  I want to see if the color is like all other BN rolling stock or if it's considerably different.

Thanks in advance

I recently bought a Menards Chessie System box car which looked a bit too bright blue in the store but liked it anyway.  At home under incandescent  light the Menards Chessie looks just like my darker  blue MTH and Lionel cars.  But placing the Menards and MTH cars under fluorescent  lighting  they are two very different colors. I had pics of this but I think I deleted them.  I could redo these if anyone is interested in the lightning  comparison.

Mark at Menards, can you make the color on these BN boxcars more prototypical for next years run?  Please please please??  I'll buy 2 sets if you do (and the hopers).

TrainGuyMcGee,

I will admit, the website color isn't as accurate as it should be.

We choose our colors based on the Pantone color system. In the case of the Burlington Northern, we chose Pantone 7741C. If there is a more accurate "Prototypical" color, we would love your feedback.

Thanks for the help Mark.  Does anybody have one of these boxcars that they can show next to a Lionel BN or MTH BN version?  I wouldn't expect the colors to match up perfectly, but I'd need them to be somewhat close.  In your picture Mark, they look a little closer to the other manufacturers BN paint scheme than the Menards website shows.

Vista, if you could post a pic, it would be very appreciated by some of us here.  Thanks!

Ps.. MikeG, if I get a set of the Manards cars, I'll definately post some pics for ya.
