Michigan Model Train Center good to go?

Hi, I would suggest you go read their web page. They are on vacation  until about July6.

The owner of the shop died last year and they are trying to sell off the inventory to close the doors. They have had a GREAT INVENTORY OF A LOT OF TRAINS. I am not sure at this point how much they have left but I can imagine they still have a pretty good stock.

I have purchased a number of items from them and they are great people.   They have some really good deals.   Enjoy

They are great to deal with.  There is still a large inventory, it's going to take a while to clear it out.  Give them a call when they are back from vacation.

I've had great experiences purchasing from them recently... but understand that their ours are VERY limited... usually just Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours.  And as somebody already pointed out, they are currently closed pretty much the entire month of June "on vacation" and will re-open on July 6.

 

Check their inventory list on the website, which you can download as a PDF.  That's how a shopped several of the MTH pieces I was searching for a couple of months ago.  The last I checked, it looked like they still had a LOT of stuff still to move.

I was last there about two months ago and they still had a ton of stuff. I mean a TON! They are great people. I wish more shop owners were as nice as they are.

Get $2000 and drive there to purchase everything you want in person.

Ordered from them last summer through September.  Always had good service with them.  I believe Cheryl was the lady that I mainly dealt with but have not had bad service with them.  Actually looking over their inventory list today and plan on inquiring on more items once they reopen.  Best of luck.

I have noticed some of there stock is now on eBay

They have had an eBay presence for quite a while now.  It is in fact diminishing, as no new items have been listed since May.
