Bossman, I'm into intermodal. It bothers me that Atlas makes superb containers and container cars but there are no really detailed trailers w/ tractors to put the containers on. It's a shame you have to scratch build trailers in this day and age. Good luck on your endeavor.

For the wheels themselves, I use the Don Mills Budd or 5 Spoke rear wheelsets, They are thin enough to be used on K-line spine cars. thi issue are the Tandem trailer axle holders I tried getting them from Atlas O but they have been out of stock for a while.

I have been using the K-line adjustable Container Trailers and swapping out the OEM K-line wheels fro the better looking Don Mills Wheels.
