Modifying the K-Line K-6720 B&LE ore car

This model was made by MDK, Inc. Chapel Hill, NC. It includes sprung trucks and a removable plastic load.

No brake detail was provided on the original car. However brake equipment has been added to the model. Also MTH roller bearing style sprung trucks were used to replace the original trucks. The MTH trucks reduce the height of the car body above rail which improves the appearance.
