MTH RK PS3 SD45 Status?

Unfortunately I haven't heard anything either. I have the Conrail on order. Also waiting on the Premier SD35 Chessie. That was due in February.

Have not heard a word...I was beginning to wonder if my pre-order submission got lost in the shuffle.  I'm waiting on Santa Fe #5704.

I have concluded that even the guys at MTH in Elkridge, MD have no idea what’s coming till they receive shipping notification from their ocean freight forwarder.

Best not to worry about when an MTH item will arrive. My rule of thumb is it’ll be here when it gets here. 🤷

Talked to the MTH guys in York. They told me they are slated for production in November, so should be available in December.

If you Google "MTH shipping schedule" you will see a list of items that MTH has in their possession that will be at dealers within 2 weeks. The list is updated every 2 weeks unless nothing new has arrived. The lastest schedule up now is for items arriving by October 15th so the list should be updating soon.

My last Railking locomotive I received was this past August and was 1 year past the due date.

Thanks. I am aware of the shipping schedule and use it religiously, it still says April of this year.

Thats not the schedule I am referring to. I am talking about the scheduled arrivals list that they release every 2 weeks or so.

Update-New ETA is March 2024 😆

Has anyone got their SD-45 yet?  I see the Scheduled Arrivals Thru March 15, 2024 News Flash from MTH has a whole slew of SD-45's listed.

Not yet.  But if they were supposed to get to MTH by the 15th and then shipped out to dealers, they should be getting very close.

I hope so, as I have arranged with Pat at E-Z Catch on Staten Island to pick mine up on Saturday 25th May, and then take it over to the New Jersey Hi-Railers club to try it out, when we hit America for our extended road trip around your wonderful country.......again!!

Good news finally

Just got a charge on the CC from Trainworld! Looking forward to getting this, will post pics when it arrives

FedEx delivered Santa Fe #5704 this morning...on my birthday!  Looking forward to running it as the lead unit with my two plated Warbonnet SD40-2's.

Funny thing is, I pre-ordered in October of 2022 based on getting it for my birthday last year. Looks like I have a birthday credit for another locomotive

My Conrail gets delivered tomorrow. I'll post pictures.

Conrail delivered today from Trainworld. Really happy with it. It's slightly lighter in color than my Railking SD60 but you can't tell in the pictures. I really like the horn on this one. Leslie three chime.

I trust Clyde to get to it, and I have no need to have it immediately, but now I really want to call Stockyard about my Conrail engine now.

I just received my MRL SD45 from MrMuffins this afternoon. Here are a couple of pictures.

The units look very nice. I notice that they don't have walkway tread. Is that something you can get as a separate part?

None of my Railking diesels have walkway tread. I don't know if you can order it, but I'm alright without it. On one of my older premier engines the tread is actually becoming undone in a few places.

Thanks for the response. I was just curious to know if it was available for people that wanted to add it. I will research as I have a couple of these units headed my way.
