I just set up a mth tiu,wiu and for track power a loinel zw250 transformer. How come when I apply power to the track do my mth ps3 locomotives start up. I have some mth ps2 and they don’t start up. Is there a setting that I’m missing on the app I use on my iPhone? Thank you for all the help.

If you have too many engines on the rails all getting power, this will happen. It will also happen if too many other things are also drawing the same power.
If you have poor signal strength, this will happen.
Finally, wire routing and paint on power screws on PS3 engines can cause this condition to be worse.

I've had this also happen when a PS2 engine has a failing battery. So I state (not popular here) that can happen to both PS3 and PS2 (less often).
Leads me to wonder if PS3 engines are more likely to do this when the caps are fully discharged?
